Tortillas-Flour

INGREDIENTS:


  • 2 cp s flour
    1 tsp salt
    1/4 cp shortening
    1/2 cp lukewarm water













     







     

  • DIRECTIONS:

     

    Combine flour, salt and shortening in mixing bowl or food processor.

    Cut in shortening using food processor or pastry blender.

    Drizzle water over mixture and mix with fork or food processor until mixture forms ball. Do not over mix.

    Knead lightly on floured surface, until smooth, about 1 minutes. Divide
    dough into 8 equal parts.


    Roll each on lightly floured surface until about 8-inches in diameter.

    Heat skillet or griddle to 300 degrees F. Cook on both sides until lightly browned.

    Serve immediately or cool and refrigerate in plastic storage bag.
